Who Are We?
The Growing Peace Project is a program of Milestone Adventures Inc, a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit based in Vermont. We offer free learning and service opportunities for youth and adults, both locally and nationally. Our programs are rooted in peace, justice, youth activism, and food security
Our NATIONAL programs revolve around school partnerships with youth across the U.S. Kids work together to identify social justice concerns in their respective communities, create and implement action plans to address those issues, and attend a next level activism retreat in Vermont
Our LOCAL programs revolve around food insecurity. We grow a free food teaching garden and orchard dedicated to serving our neighbors in need. We offer home-cooked meals for food shelves, cultivation workshops, children's gardening, STEAM and earth stewardship activities, family cooking classes, and more
